Brady Recieves Dual Endorsement from Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Latino Victory Fund!July 22, 2016
State Representative Brady Piñero Walkinshaw today announced that he received the endorsements of the national Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and the Latino Victory Fund, in the first ever joint announcement between the two organizations.
“I am honored to receive the endorsements of these two impactful organizations. Now more than ever, we need a new generation of leadership in Congress who represents our growing diversity as a nation. Together, we can continue to grow the diversity of our representation and ensure that Seattle makes history by sending a bold progressive choice to Congress,” said Walkinshaw.
In a statement, Victory Fund President & CEO Aisha C. Moodie-Mills said “Brady’s commitment to smart public policy that addresses the real concerns of constituents makes him the best candidate not only for LGBT people and Latinos, but for all residents. His positive agenda has inspired his community and our organizations, and we are committed to supporting his candidacy through November.”
Walkinshaw has been endorsed by more than 30 colleagues from the state legislature, and dozens of community members and advocates. The historic joint announcement can be found here.

Today, I am ecstatic to announce that the Seattle Times has endorsed our campaign for Congress! Together, we can build a more prosperous future for all our residents by focusing on local issues including minimum wage, gun control, civil rights, and combating the adverse effects of climate change.
